Propaganda legitimised...

I see the Herald & Times Group - Evening Labour 'Ripped Off Glasgow' campaign has been nominated in the Campaign of the Year section of the Scottish Press Awards. I had no idea that this illustrious body had a fantasy/propaganda section...

You've gotta laugh, Mark.

Either that or cry.

As an exiled Glasvegan I find it pitiful, that the civic leaders and this American evening paper would portray Glasgow as a whining city. It reminds me of Alex Ferguson when Aberdeen manager, winding his players up by telling them how Glasgow was always favoured by media, referees and SFA.

Do not laugh. If Glen "Scoop" Campbell can win an investigative journalist award for a Labour press release anything can and will happen.

Once The Times wins this the "ripped off Glasgow campaign will start again.

Still good for the SNP the only area Labour interested in is Glasgow.

Correct me if I am wrong, but is the Editor on the Times from the Aberdeen local rag? The rag that constantly whined about Glasgow bias?

Formerly a respectable blatt known as the 'Glaschu Academic Fortifier and Literary Gleaner', it is now a purveyor of late football results and anti-everywhere-but-Glasgow propaganda exclusives for the late boulevardista, wending his weary way home from a hard days work cursing the flagrant successes of the SNP.
