Ouch, just when you thought it couldn't get any worse....

'The truth is, Peter, we have spent ten years working with this guy, and we don’t actually like him.
'We have always thought that the longer the British public had to get to know him, the less they would like him as well.’

Douglas Alexander talking about Gordon Brown to Peter Watt, General Secretary of the Labour party between 2005 and 2007 in the run up to the election that never was.

Having worked with DFID on several occasions and due to again; I can believe Wee Dougie is throwing insults. He has squandered as many billions on pointless projects as Gorgon has, they are both about to be drawing Job Seekers and as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike. The world of tough choices is about to arrive, eh Mark?

I suspect this is just the tip of the iceberg and more will surface before the Titanic finally arrives.

I don't think that he was saying anything that we didn't know. We have liked him less and less. To know him is to dislike him....

I think he'll end up like Mrs Robinson... in the loony bin...

Actually the same is probably said about wee Dougie as well. After all he has only got to where he is because he is a wee arse-licking toady. He is just a wee con-man, or thinks he is, ask anyone what he has done for Paisley South and they will not be able to think of one thing - typical Labour MP in fact.
