Scottish Government budget passed

Bonkers Bitchin' Broon Boy Backs Budget

Soooo it finally passed.
Was this finally acknowledgement by
Labour and the Lib Dems of the error of their ways, have they
accepted they should not play politics with people’s jobs?

Naturally, Patrick Harvie voted against it and killed off any
chances of the Greens being electable in Scotland for years
to come.

Here's what it's worth …

• Continuation of the Council Tax freeze saving bill payers
up to £400

• Support for 5,000 jobs – particularly in the construction
sector

• Abolition of business rates for 120,000 struggling small
businesses

• £70 million of early investment in affordable housing

• £60 million for town centre renewal

• £40 million increase in funding for free personal care

• Over £300 million of additional spending in the NHS

• Extra funding to put even more police on the beat

• Extra funding to reduce prescription charges further

In essence we're talking EXTRA investment worth over
£1,200 for punters in Scotland passed by the Scottish
Parliament.

Consensus politics dontcha just love it?

Ahoy Montague, yeh good news. Labour and the Libs got very little and the SNP and the Scottish people won. How embarrassing it must be for Labour and the Libs to vote down the budget then a week later with nothing more than a handful of small concessions they then vote for the budget.

Maybe the word "election" scared them both.

Agrr your blogs like a big bloody banana

Aye and you'd know what a big bloody banana looks like you wrongmo!

Thing is, Labour were offered four and a half points out of their five points a week past Monday. Grey agreed that rolling out 21,000 apprentices in one year without 21,000 positions available, was not sustainable, particularly in light of Westminster's proposed budget cuts of ONE BILLION POUNDS.

He agreed to do the budget, then returned to his group of knuckle draggers only to find himself booed down by the usual subjects, Kerr, Whitton, McNeill, Baillie and Baron Ffuckwit. Quick reversal and the budget was branded "wholly inadequate" by Andy Disnae Kerr.

FFW One week later the same deal is offered and wahay it's consensus with Gray spouting "These new measures are the most important and substantial changes to this year's Budget."

Only for Snake eyes Swinney to confirm that this weeks offer was exactly the same as last weeks...

There you go. Just what our brave Labour, Lib Dem and singular Tory MP's get up to during the half hour a week they devote to Scotland in Westminster.

Chuffing technology! I've ruined this babbage machine by trying to fill in the text with crayon on the screen....

Gray looked as if he was using a buttplug last night on Newsnicht. His twitch is completely out of control. I suspect he may be a Soviet sleeper and he's communicating with his handler via REM's...

Well done, Montague, don't take any notice of those moaning minnies. Would you like some more photos of the gorgeous Cathy?

Brownlie this cathy fixation needs sorted. I am willing in the spirits of making another happy to chip in a fiver for a "crack ho"(thats the in term) apparently they share many simillar characteristics. And they cost a lot less than the 100 odd grand a year the parliament ones do.

Standard menu of what you get:
23 looking 54, no teeth, voice like a gravel truck, same style of dress(for court), simmillar education, however parliament version has a degree in macaroni art and piepcleaner sculpture.

thats me in for a fiver! only another 5 to go! if we get 3 chipping in perhaps we can book the real deal for Brownlie?

word ver: tossieu - LOL Close!
